Back in 1963 Roland Royer started Royer Insurance, Inc. here in Newport, and for nearly forty years our agency has provided our community with first-class insurance coverage.

The Travelers, a major insurance organization that started with the Royer Agency, remains our largest company.

In 1965, Edwin Camp joined Roland as a partner and the agency changed its name to Royer Camp Insurance, Inc. Always active in the life of our community Roland and Ed created a local company that became known over the years for its excellent, personal service. Many clients from those early days remain with our agency today.

Annette Haselton joined Ed in l989 as a Bookkeeper/Office Manager. Eventually, Annette obtained her Property/Casualty License and now serves as our Customer Service Representative.

Michael Lantagne, who has been an insurance professional for 29 years, joined Ed as a partner in 1998. He earned his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1983.
